A guy I used to work for at a bike breakers used to drag race. He had some lowered oil cooled nos`d thing that could get just under 8secs I seem to recall.
Never understood the appeal myself. Its more like a tuning/engineering competition than a race, but hey ho to each his own :wistle

I had an Renault 5 GT Turbo in 1991 that did a similar figure to that at Elvington (12.9 sec and 115mph max speed) :thumbsup:
